Lido – Here (Thoughts From A Tour Bus)
13 November |

So after tolling twitter last night I came across Lido, going on a rant about music labels taking tracks off soundcloud. Next thing I know I wake up this morning and the greatest cover I have ever heard was uploaded onto soundcloud.

Listen to Lido’s take onto Alessia Cara’s “Here”, it will take you on an emotional sound filled landscape of a journey. Very rarely do we get to here Lido himself sing on a track so this is definitely a real treat. Stream below.

Alizzz – Your Love (feat. Max Marshall)
12 November |

Alizzz Your Love Art

Alizzz has been on our radar for a while, with releases on labels MofoHifi and Mad Decent’s Jeffree’s. We gave his latest EP ‘Your Love’ a good listen… and it’s clear that the Spanish talent is here to stay. Warning: these tracks will submerge you in an ocean of shimmering synths and whimsical harmonies. Be sure to listen to ‘Your Love’ here or grab it on iTunes now.

Owen Rabbit – Denny’s
10 November |

Owen Rabbit is from Melbourne Australia and isn’t your ordinary artist. As a producer and multi-instrumentalist, he eloquently tells stories through sound that showcase his vocal range and emotion. It’s no wonder that he’s seen support from platforms like BBC1, triple j, and Beats 1.

Tulpa – Tea For Two (Single)
2 November |

“I have not been through a lot in regards to what other people have been through. That is not to say I haven’t had any hardships, because I’ve had a lot. My life is mostly filled with bad stuff that wouldn’t have actually became a problem if I didn’t pursue the more negative things in life. With that said, I’ve been in places I’m not proud of, I’ve been in mindsets that affected my health, but it all shapes my music. I am my music, there is no doubt about it….I don’t make what’s commercially marketable, I make what I want. Seeing the world, just sitting and staring shapes my music. I know make it seem corny, but the silent picture around me is what I aim to draw with my sounds.” – Tulpa

Let me introduce you to Tulpa. The rising producer has been creating a blend of chill, experimental music for a few years now and isn’t slowing down anytime soon. Utilizing the hums from singer/songwriter BLANKTS, the two meld their talents together for a sonic masterpiece. Stream/download Tea For Two below.

A new empire is being forged on Soundcloud. Only five days have passed since their first release and the project, Lazyboy Empire, is well on its way to success. Debut single, Vampire, has mass appeal and it’s obvious from the second you hit play. A chunky rhythm is the backbone for impressive vocals and layered textures. Check out Vampire and get on down.

Ofelia K – Gone (Single)
22 September |

Ofelia K just released Gone and I can’t get it out of my head. Somber yet eloquent, this tune is just what I needed this morning (besides a cup of coffee). After several listens, I can’t wait to hear more from the L.A. songstress. To learn more about her, be sure to stop by her Tumblr.

I love the sadness of the subject matter, mixed with the optimism of the instrumentation. – Ofelia K

Oshan ft. Krue – Dafty (Single)
16 September |

Having listened to Australian producer Oshan for a while now, I knew I had to write about Dafty as soon as it dropped. After hitting play, Oshan’s synths and Krue’s glorious vocals immediately had me entranced. Even while writing this article, I couldn’t stop grooving in my seat. Be sure to keep an eye on Oshan because he’s just getting started. Head below to listen to Dafty and snag a free download.

Mexico City Blondes – First Cut (Single)
15 September |

Santa Barbara’s Mexico City Blondes have returned with a new EP and it’s splendid. Opening track, First Cut, delivers punchy bass lines, uplifting riffs, and dreamy vocals. I’m definitely keeping this one on repeat. If you’re digging the rest of their EP, be sure to support Mexico City Blondes by purchasing it on iTunes.

Louis The Child ft. K. Flay – It’s Strange (Single)
10 September |

Chicago-based production duo Louis The Child is ridiculous. Their blend of minimalistic future bass joins forces with K. Flay on new single It’s Strange, and the results is stunning. While Louis The Child submerges listeners in synth work reminiscent of Flume’s, K. Flay’s vocals meticulously wander their sonic landscape. No wonder EA Sports chose this to be on the new FIFA 2016 soundtrack. Stream It’s Strange below and purchase it on iTunes HERE.
