Alina Baraz & Galimatias – Fantasy (Single)
30 September | | electronic

Denmark producer Galimatias and L.A. based singer/songwriter Alina Baraz have been collaborating for well over a year now, nonchalantly dropping off random singles via Soundcloud here and there. Up until last week, it seemed like there was no real project or proper release in order. Then the duo released Fantasy, the first single from their recently announced EP, Urban Flora, which is set to release later this fall. With the undeniable chemistry between these two, it’s hard not to be excited for the EP.

Stwo – Ninety Two (Mixtape)
29 September | | electronic

Over the weekend, Parisian producer Stwo released a collection of instrumentals “inspired by Drake‚Äôs Nothing Was The Same album” in the form of a mixtape. The eight tracks, labeled Ninety Two, are available for free download via the link below. While you’re at it, sample a few of the beats Stwo thinks “could be a great fit with Drake on them”, including standout Morphans, which sounds like the lost b-side to Connect.

High Klassified – No Ongaku (Single)
25 September | | electronic

Listen to No Ongaku, a crazy new joint from Montreal’s High Klassified. Since we last heard from HK, he’s had a hand in production for the likes of Juvenile, Mick Jenkins and more, but the young producer has turned his focus back to making solo material. I feel like he’s about due for a follow up to his last EP on Fools Gold. Could this be the first offering?

With the release of his Software Recording Co. debut around the corner, Baton Rouge’s Suicideyear unveils the video for title track, Remembrance. Corey Grand ft. Marcus Alan Ward – No One Loves A Paradox (Single)
16 September | | electronic

Two of the most prominent figures in Cleveland’s bubbling music scene, Corey Grand and Marcus Alan Ward, have joined forces on a powerful new single. Premiered by Afropunk, No One Loves A Paradox is an entrancing collaboration that demonstrates the organic chemistry between Grand and Ward, first uncovered over a year ago on Grand’s first album. With his Bathed In Light EP set to drop at the top of October via Long Division, Grand has gained the kind of momentum that requires our undivided attention from here on out.

Child Actor – Never Die (Album)
15 September | | electronic

In the same vein as notable boy/girl duos like Phantogram, MVSCLES and Skin Town, New England duo Child Actor’s sound falls somewhere between modern day pop and experimental R&B music. With help from Bullet Media, Max and Natalie released their second full length album a few weeks back and it shows a noticeable amount of growth. Led by standout single, Against The Night, CA’s Never Die LP is well produced and more thought out than anything they’ve released to date. With room to continue to improve, I am confident Child Actor will be making rounds on major web publications and performing across the country in no time. Head below to stream Never Die in its entirety and grab a free download of Blue Sky Black Death’s remix of the title track while you’re at it.

DJ Smokey – Smoked Out Dance Party (Mixtape)
12 September | | electronic

Listen to a brand new batch of codeine laced instrumentals from Canadian producer DJ Smokey. He released the 14 track mixtape, Smoked Out Dance Party, earlier this week and it’s full of those demonic, left field traphouse anthems he’s become known for. Smoke, dance and be merry to DJ Smokey’s latest below, and check out a recent collaboration with Detroit’s Mr. Sisco while you’re at it.
