Very excited to hear new music from Phoenix producer Myrryrs, who is gearing up for another release on Body High. The new EP will act as the follow up to his criminally slept on I’m A State of Mind EP from last year. Beloved Canadian super producer Ryan Hemsworth is prepping the release of a new EP, Still Awake, which will drop on his newly launched website next week. The folks over at Mixmag premiered the ambient first single, Perfectly, yesterday and announced a string of European tour dates that Hemsworth will kick off on May 29th in Copenhagen.

I have been following Parisian producer Andrea for quite some time now observing him release one off singles and free downloads via his Soundcloud page. Just a few months ago he helped form a new independent label/imprint by the name of Moose Records, and aside from an introductory compilation, Andrea’s Cruising EP serves as their first official release. Coming in at five tracks, there are three originals featuring appearances from Rejjie Snow and Julia Losfelt, in addition to two remixes from Sun Glitters and Slow Magic. Been waiting to hear ViLLΛGE & Arapaima’s joint EP in full since we got a taste of Love On The Line about a month ago. Their six track EP, The Catch, finally saw the light of day last week thanks to Origami Sound and can be streamed below. The release features three solo tracks from ViLLΛGE and three from Arapaima, and will be followed up by an official remix EP featuring some of their favorite artists in the months to come.

I posted Let Me Go Up, the first single from 4llsouls & Chloe Martini’s joint EP when it caught my attention a few weeks ago. Now the entire four track Spare Love EP is available, which includes two collaborative efforts and an individual track from both 4llsouls and Chloe Martini. The first song to get visual treatment from Kaytranada’s debut EP, Kaytra Todo, is the thumping EP closer, Holy Hole Inna Donut. The video features strange clips of what looks like found footage from a game of Jai alai somewhere overseas and it strangely fits with the music. Picking up where the Magique EP left off, Chicago R&B super group JODY have revealed the first single from their next EP. The Long Goodbye is a sweet, sultry bedroom jam backed by smooth production from The-Drum, who have really stepped into a lane of their own in terms of sound and style. Futuristic soul duo 4llsoul of the Netherlands and Polish producer Chloe Martini are teaming up to release a joint EP, Spare Love, via UK creative outlet, Take Care Recordings. Take Care, who’ve already fostered releases from Austrian producer, salute., put the slowburning first single, Let Me Go Up, up for streaming a few days ago. Unwind to Let Me Go Up below and keep an eye out for the whole EP, which should be out any day now.

In anticipation of their forthcoming debut LP via Audraglint Records, Chicago production duo The-Drum let us in on a listen of the first single. Sirens is an obscure instrumental influenced by what sounds like heavy African vibes and tribal percussion. Based on the noticeable growth since their last EP, Sense Net, The-Drum’s full length should be an extremely weird and intoxicating audio experience that you don’t want to miss out on. I’ve paid close attention to Detroit producer Rob Mansel, aka Black Noi$e, since he contributed a track to our On Repeat Vol. 1 compilation about a year ago. The young producer has made beats for a laundry list of upcoming rappers, including credits with Children of the Night, World’s Fair, Deniro Farrar, Boldy James, Aaron Cohen and more. He is also a member of the Potholes Music roster, who recently assisted with the release of $$$, his first official project under the label. The five track EP features all new material, plus a guest appearance from fellow label mate Jay Cue. I’ve been gushing about Hawaii’s Mr. Carmack for a while now and it seems he’s finally getting the recognition he deserves. Back in February he was invited out to San Francisco to play at the legendary Low End Theory alongside Djemba Djemba, Daddy Kev, Nocando, Nobody and more. Last week saw the release of Carmack’s first official project, a double sided single on Mad Decent’s sister imprint, Jeffree’s. Birth Control and Hopscotch both exemplify the fusion of forward thinking electronic music and classic hip hop beats that Carmack’s been making for years now, but with a tad bit more sheen to them. Both tracks can be streamed and downloaded in full below, and if thats not enough, entertain yourself with the idea of an official Mr. Carmack x Ginuwine collaboration after a photo of them in the studio surfaced a few days ago. Our fingers are crossed!

Rising Montreal production duo Grown Folk have proven to be extremely versatile when it comes to their production. After cooking up a few lo-fi, cloudy hip-hop beats for the Main Attrakionz last album, Brendan and Drew went on to release more forward thinking, house influenced tunes through the San Francisco based Icee Hot label. Most recently, the duo put their atmospheric touch on Deniro Farrar’s Just In Case The World Ends, a cut from his joint EP with BSBD. Expect more new music from Grown Folk soon and stream/download their heavily sedated Deniro Farrar remix below.
