Donky Pitch – We Didn’t Think We’d Make It This Far Vol. 1 (Compilation)
31 July | | eps

Been mentioning Brighton based label Donky Pitch a lot lately, and for good reason. The relatively young label has been putting out quality music and hosting exciting live shows for nearly three years now and it doesn’t look like they plan on slowing down anytime soon. To celebrate their tenth release, Donky Pitch put together We Didn’t Think We’d Make It This Far Vol. 1, an 18 track sampler featuring one track from each of those EPs, plus additional exclusives. The sampler hosts new and old music from the likes of Lockah, LiL TExAS, The Range, Slugabed, Keyboard Kid, Ghost Mutt, 813 and more, and can be streamed/downloaded in full below.

Rejjie Snow – Loveleen
25 June | | eps

Stream Loveleen, the lead single from Irish rapper Rejjie Snow’s debut EP, Rejovich. His witty, unorthodox style of rhyming sounds something like if Odd Future met King Krule and collaborated on a track. Snow’s five song EP is available now on Kaya Kaya Records and can be purchased through the link below.

Black Noi$e – Hold On
18 June | | eps

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Detroit bred producer Black Noi$e is one of the most talented, exciting up and coming producers, period. The versatility he’s displayed by producing for a promising bunch of new rappers, along with his recent solo work has turned a lot of heads. Dude also has beats for days, which is evident by his steady output of quality new music. His latest tune is Hold On, a footwork and hip-hop infused jam that was premiered by XLR8R and will be released along with a b-side through the Potholes Music imprint later this month.

Lee Bannon – Never/mind/the/darkness/of/it… EP
4 June | | eps

Sacramento producer Lee Bannon has become known through his production for Curren$y, Smoke DZA, Joey Badda$$, Ab-Soul, Blu, The Alchemist and more. He has also released a series of instrumental mixtapes, which help demonstrate his skills behind the boards a little better. His latest solo outing is the Never/mind/the/darkness/of/it… EP and it shows off a darker side of Bannon’s production somewhat resembling the ethereal sounds of Clams Casino, Holy Other, oOoOO and others alike. If you’re like me and hate spiders with a passion, let the cover art above serve as a warning for what’s in store. Stream Bannon’s entire EP below and hit the link to throw $5 on it.

Lil’ Sad – You Were Right
22 May | | eps

Listen to another devastating, depressing beat from the mysterious Lil’ Sad in the form of You Were Right. He/she claim to have an EP on the way, which I am looking forward to considering I have posted nearly every Lil’ Sad track thus far. Laughing at the “weepwave” tag on Soundcloud in the meantime.

Gorgeous Children – Liberace Gems
22 May | | eps

Face Vega and Gila Monsta, collectively known as Gorgeous Children, are gearing up for the release of ICE, the follow up to their brooding self titled mixtape from last fall. In anticipation of the new EP, Noisey premiered GC’s latest joint, Liberace Gems, which can only be described as some elegant gangster shit. Rumor has it GC have signed to Canadian imprint Vase for an EP release after Evian Christ put label head Jacques Greene onto their music a few months back. Certainly an interesting tidbit that I’m excited to watch unfold.
