Kodak To Graph – Fake Murblock x Los Angeles (Singles)
28 February | | instrumental

Originally from Pensacola, Florida, LA based producer Kodak To Graph has become known for his high energy remixes and overall futuristic sound. With the release date for his debut album, Isa, set for March 10th, KTG teamed up with The Fader and Complex to premiere two new songs throughout the month of February. First came Los Angeles, a mellow, sample-based tune with more layers than an onion. Then there’s Fake Murblock, the epic, slow-building second single that was released earlier this week. Between the two tracks, Isa has quickly made its way to the top of my list of most anticipated March releases.

Featuring vocals from talented newcomer Anthony Flammia, the sultry single is just a sample of his Merlot Sounds EP, which also features contributions from Kelela, 1-O.A.K. and Eric Arc Elliot. Sam Gellaitry – Short Stories EP
25 February | | instrumental

For their first proper release of the year, Soulection turns to 18 year old Scottish producer, Sam Gellaitry. The beats on his debut EP are certainly unconventional, helping to redefine the way one may classify electronic music going forward. Elements of hip-hop, R&B, and deep house are present throughout, making it difficult to put Sam’s style in a single category. I just call it good music. Stream and purchase a copy of his Short Stories EP through the link below.

Eaves – Projector (Single)
19 February | | instrumental

XLR8R debuted another new song from New York producer Eaves’ forthcoming Hush Hush Records debut. Projector is much more experimental than the EP’s title track, which is a testament to the producers versatility. Part industrial rave tune, part ambient noise, Projector twists and transforms several times through out its 4 and 3/4 minutes. Hit the link below to preorder Eaves’ Hue EP ahead of its March 23rd release date.

Lil’ Sad – Threw It Away (Single)
9 February | | instrumental

Listen to new music from the saddest producers around, Lil’ Sad. Bubbling new track Threw It Away is full of glitches and quirky vocal samples, sounding like early Balam Acab injected with more bass. Lil’ Sad recently released a new EP on cassette titled Vol. 2 via Anti-Party music, but it’s already sold out. Threw It Away didn’t make the cut, so think of it as a consolation prize for those who missed out.

Eaves – Hue (Single)
30 January | | instrumental

After hearing NYC producer Eaves on the very first Futures Collective compilation back in summer of 2013, I knew dude was talented. Fast forward to 2015 and Eaves is preparing to release his first official EP via Seattle-based Hush Hush Records with a song premiere on Dummy Mag. The title track, Hue, is an usual instrumental that infuses elements of juke/footwork and left field hip-hop, resulting in a sound unique to Eaves’ music. Head below to stream Hue ahead of the EP’s March 23rd release date.

Broken Keys – Jump In The Air x Smoke Screen – Whippin’ (Singles)
21 January | | instrumental

Listen to two tracks taken from the Alloy-X crew’s forthcoming compilation, Vol. 2. The Broken Keys produced Jump In The Air is a dingy dance tune that picks up right where Black Sand Beach left off. The Urbindex produced Whippin’ is a glimpse into the gritty streets of Cleveland narrated by Chemist and Mooke Da God of Smoke Screen. Both songs will appear on the Alloy-X Vol. 2 compilation, which is set to drop on January 27th.
