Danham & Main Attrakionz – Higher (Single)
24 July | | music

Looks like Squadda and Mondre lended their talent to relatively unknown rapper Danham’s new single, Higher. With a triumphant beat provided by L.A. rapper/producer Nedarb Nagrom, the results are pretty special. Still not sure who Danham is or where he’s from, but the single was released by AMDISCS: Futures Reserves Label and can be purchased through the link below.

Rejjie Snow – I Will Still Keep U (Interlude) (Video)
23 July | | music

More newness from Irish rapper Rejjie Snow, who just released an animated visual to accompany the short interlude, I Will Still Keep U. The mellow beat matched with Rejjie’s soft, laid back flow is so relaxing I just wanna keep it on a permanent loop. Big things still to come for this kid. Head below and check out the video for his previous single while you’re here.

Looks like I missed the latest project from Seattle’s Nacho Picasso last month? The 13-track mixtape is titled Blunt Raps 2 and features production from Eric G, Raised Byy Wolves, Harry Fraud, Jake One, and more. This one was released only a month after The Witchtape with 88 Ultra, which shows just how much recorded music Nacho has stashed away. Stream/purchase his Blunt Raps 2 in full below.

The Jealous Guys – Make Me A Beat (Video)
13 July | | music

Apparently The Jealous Guys are back?!? I was tipped off by the always-on-point Southern Hospitality crew, who posted the Make A Beat video a few weeks back. Biz Y Casa and Ayinde haven’t lost a step since we last heard from them and based off an image that appears at this end of the video, they are preparing to release a new project sometime during the month of August. Keep your fingers crossed.

KOR x P4K Fest 2015 Mix
10 July | | music

This year marks the ten year anniversary of my favorite live music event, Pitchfork Music Festival. Presenting more than 40 bands over the course of three days in Chicago’s Union Park, Pitchfork manages to secure some of the city’s best local vendors while maintaining very reasonable ticket prices despite an oversaturated local festival circuit.

This year will feature live performances from Wilco, Vic Mensa, Vince Staples, Chance The Rapper, Jamie XX, Clark, A$AP Ferg, Tobias Jesso Jr., Ariel Pink, How To Dress Well, Future Brown, Caribou, CHVRCHES, Run The Jewels, Panda Bear, Todd Terje & The Olsens, Madlib & Freddie Gibbs, ILoveMakonnen, Shamir, Mr. Twin Sister, and so many more. I am honored and excited to be a part of the festival for the third year in a row, which is why I have assembled a mix featuring some of my favorite artists set to perfrom this year. Stream the 18-track mix below and hit the link to purchase a ticket for Friday (Saturday & Sunday are sold out).
